Will surely go down as one of my year's most fortuitous viewing surprises.Watch Crazy/Beautiful 2001 Movie Full Online, Watch Crazy/Beautiful Online megavideo Full Download Streaming, Watch Crazy/Beautiful Online, Watch Crazy/Beautiful 2001 Full Movie online, Watch Live Movie Crazy/Beautiful Streaming, Watch Crazy/Beautiful Online Full Download Streaming, how to download Crazy/Beautiful full movie There's good-looking Jay Hernandez for her while Dunst bounces around braless for him, and Dunst's performance stands out with a couple potent scenes of palpable fragility once we discover the source of her personal demons. There are no easy answers here, but there are answers and they are grappled with instead of glossed over by rolling credits and a happy theme song.Ĭrazy/Beautiful is a mature, convention-dodging, satisfying date movie. Case in point - you know how this kind of movie always has a "Screw the world, let's get out of here!" final scene where the young lovers jump in the car and speed off laughing into the distance? Well, this movie has that scene too - but then spends another 20 minutes facing the consequences of such an action. I developed strong feelings for these characters and hoped they could work around the obstacles, but there seemed to be no guarantee. There's an honesty and depth on display here that you very rarely get in a teen drama. That's also when veteran actor Bruce Davison steps up in a big way as her father who loves her but doesn't know how to help. Thereafter, strong scene follows strong scene as they try to reconcile their lives together against his dreams and family pressures and her irresponsibility and troubled family life. I can pinpoint the scene for you too: after Nicole leaves a birthday party for Carlos' friend's sister and she confesses a distressing realization to him in the car. And you think you're seeing it again until about halfway when the complexities of the characters and their relationship begin to shine through. You've seen this mismatched young love story done a thousand times before, and usually badly and/or superficially. Doesn't start very promisingly though, treading in deeply-worn tracks with poor Hispanic boy Carlos getting involved with rich white girl Nicole - he studies, she parties he's heads-up, she's a screw-up he's pragmatic, she's problematic. Had this on my watch list ONLY because Kirsten Dunst stars, and was unexpectedly treated to an overall rewarding experience.
